I am fascinated how quickly the two companies have reached agreement on this historic project. Consider DM&E has been wrestling for a decade or more to build into the coal fields and CN has been working through the Surface Transportation Board for months on the EJ&E Acquisition. While other railroads are just beginning to put things in place (NS Patriot Corridor, etc.) the Pacific Rim is well on its way! Hats off the Russel for bringing us this cheerful news.
