Living in Oakland, I can remember going to the Circus in the Oakland Coliseum and seeing Gunther-Gebel Williams. He was a master animal trainer. And yes, it was a thrill to see around Twenty large elephants come trotting in the arena holding each others tails, to the overture of loud circus music. Sad to see them go !! And, no more circus trains !
