Well hello Altamont. I usually just lurk here, but since you're talking about "my" railroad...
We have two 70 tonners, #70 and #80. They work great mu'ed. But the need isn't there when we use other power like our leaser, BUGX 1322.
We don't mu a 70 tonner with other power for reasons already stated.
I wish there was a cool story behind the video with #80 and the 1322. The short story is that the video was taken the day it arrived. We towed it to our yard pending an arrival inspection, so no, it was not running. I worked that train, and rode the 1322 out of Guad to 'watch the brake gauge'. (Which I did.) Truth is, the cab was cool and the seat looked comfortable. (It is) The comfort lasted until I dropped off to catch the derail at our interchange yard. Then it was time to get back to work.
