DOT requires a certain percentage of random drug screens to also include breath alcohol testing (BAT). In my previous career in trucking operations, I would have approximately 2-3 random testing failures per year. I only had 1 fail on BAT. I fired several more for being under the influence, or after they were arrested for DUII. Its a problem. Daily driving around Tacoma I see/smell at least one person smoking marijuana in their car. I'm just waiting for one of those doper POS's to crash into me and I'll sue the bejezus out of the state of WA for legalizing a schedule 1 Federal illicit substance.
