I talked to the BNSF Command Center Center at Esssex just a few minutes ago [8:30am Tuesday] They didn't have too much additional information about the slides than that is already out there. They did say that there is no rotary snowplow at Essex and the they are using the Cats and Jordan Spreaders to get the line open. They said that none of the snowsheds suffered any damage. They didn't have any specific time for opening the Pass.
BTW - I noticed that there has been some talk about timetables lately - I selling more than 30 various Great Northern, Burlington Northern, SP&S and a Canadian Pacific employee timetables
