There is a public STB filing showing a sale of Sierra RR freight operations to Patriot Rail.
This includes the Oakdale - Sonora line, the Woodland branch, Riverbank Arsenal trackage and Port of Sacramento trackage. It specifically excludes any transfer of all Sierra tourist operations, but does make it clear that current Sierra ownership can continue to run tourist operations on the lines after the sale.

The link is to the STB website, but to be fair, I first saw a notice of this from a posting on the [notorious?] TrainOrders website, where I am a paying member.
Beyond the lines sold, Sierra runs tourist operations on the California Western (Fort Bragg - Willts) and has an agreement to run to run operations on the [currently being] reconstructed Virginia & Truckee. It will be interesting to see how the future develops for those operations.
