I haven't had the good fortune to ride either,But I have used a still and video camera on both.
Each has its points.But I like the roadside shots better in the Feather River Canyon from Oroville to the Keddie Wye near Quincy CA,
The curved and tilted bridge at "Pulga " is a great shot.Loking down into the canyon..You will have to park a little ways from the photo spot as the road is quite narrow..
I am from Moab Ut but make a trip to the FRC once a year ..
