Would be nice if in the process of reducing regulations we could drop back to tier 3 diesels. DEF is replacing one hazmat for another. Been unimpressed with GE's tier 4 things, run o.k. so far----if you can take the vibration and occasional blasts of soot.
Tier 2 over the road diesels were the last ones that ran decent. Euro designs I've been around are not as robust as older American designs and don't tolerate rough service as well.
