That was indeed the plan a few days ago, when UP was still cut above Moyie Springs and they started running that H-MINPAS south out of Sandpoint. Twas said that it would continue down the Ayer Sub; I never did hear if that's how it left Spokane. Additional BNSF detours over UP were planned. But then BNSF had its second round of slides at Katka, and then yesterday UP got its slide-out repaired, so the SI and Washy have normal traffic moving again.
