A 645 isn't much heavier than a 567, the cylinder liners, pistons, rods plus some bulkhead stiffening are the primary differences. The problem is that the dual 567s were pretty much over the
trucks which carried the bulk of the weight. The mid-mounted 645 puts the weight between the trucks
and now carried by the frame/car body assembly. They haven't caved in the middle yet so the problem is a total disaster, yet.
