SD&AE - way out east

A few months ago, the 3 stored locomotives at the far eastern end of the line, where the connection is made with UPRR (MP 129.61), got lose on the mainline and rolled east into an empty flat car. Recently, I observed the 3 locoms and the flatcar are now stored about 15 miles west of that location, as Coyote Wells siding.

My question - who and how were they rolled there?
