Concur on that. Anyone planning to travel this road and not familiar with the area should bring plenty of water, food, and full fuel in the car. And that car absolutely must have GROUND CLEARANCE. Not one for the family sedan. Some folks will tell you it has to be 4WD, but I found 2WD was fine, but the size of some of the rocks in the road would eat an oil for lunch. That, and a couple of dry washes to cross.
