Well, of course it's not considered a career graveyard, by those who would appear to care little for doing great things well, and think only of how much they can earn, steal, and/or pad their pensions... And, who may not have the professional cajones, nor the moral values, necessary to say no......

But, to those of us who measure great careers and success by great accomplishments, done well, which provide lasting benefit and value to society, it is a sad commentary to be associated with this truly amazing fiasco.

I even have friends at PB, well qualified to do rail projects, who have managed to keep their personal professional reputations in tact, by scrupulously avoiding any involvement with the CHSRA contracts, in spite of lucrative enticements. As even in that firm, this project is viewed by many of those "true" professionals, as an incompetently managed and corrupt political joke.........
