What about the other dates in August and September mentioned in the posts about Track 1... will the Zephyr also detour on those dates?

Also, how and where does it switch to and from the route over Donner after leaving Sacramento?

I remember there used to be a freight track in Reno that went from the old WP to the SP. Is that still in use or will the trains have to bypass Reno and Sparks? to get back to the UP mainline?
