Eagle Mountain Railroad scrapping

On Trainorders it was reported that tracks of the former Eagle Mountain have now been removed between Eagle Mountain and the I-10 under-crossing (near Desert Center).

So that means scrappers will be working this summer in the sloped area of dry washes between there and the Salton Sea.

It would be very worthwhile for you photographers out there to grab some shots of their work. Photos of that will be rare and more valuable down the road than the usual UP action shots.
