There are quite a few washouts and very large trees that need to be cleared in multiple locations before any train can run on the Santa Cruz Branch. Also the construction project in Aptos constructed an orange fence across the tracks a few months ago that will need to be removed before a train can run.
I did see yesterday that an agreement must have been made on who was paying for the large trees that fell in Capitola to be removed. A tree removal company was there yesterday with large logging equipment removing them.

If the person posting as Ian is who I think it is then I would believe anything he says about the Roaring Camp Operation.
