Charles Clegg's estate owned the car until the early 1980's when it was sold to the present owner. Story goes it sat near Mission Bay after Clegg's death in 1979 until sold. Lucky nothing happened to it during that time? Clegg also kept the Hillsborough and Virginia City houses until his death.
