Some years ago the Snowflake showed up minus the star "Virginia City" after I had convinced several friends from far and wide to join the trip. Wade apologized profusely all the way to Sparks but he and the AMTRAK car inspector could not make ends meet. Make no mistake, the trip was a blast, even without the Virginia City. Partial consolation was a tour of the Virginia City house for those interested. Wade has had along run......one can hope a future owner will embrace the legend as he has.
