Is it comforting to refer to people hit by trains as trespassers? I suppose it helps to deal with the image of a train hitting a human. Is there an age limit to calling them trespassers? Are children exempt? Mentally ill? Dementia sufferers? I'm damn lucky. I've been involved in a few xing accidents but never saw a fatality or even injury as a result. I wonder if I had that misfortune I'd stand over the body and think: "Well it's all their fault--darn trespasser."
