I took the scenic way to Medford on Sunday. All the water towers (Wendell Madeline, Likely, Alturas) are still in tact

Lake County RR was tied up on the main just west of the Wye with the SD and both GPs. The train consisted of about 20 covered hoppers and three center beams. Of note was the fact the power was left idling----I don't think temperatures are issue up there this time of year.

There were about 50 center beams and a dozen covered hoppers "stored" in the Alturas yard


Are they CTC equipping the Highline? In Bieber yard there were 5 new signal cabinets, pedestals and signal poles on the ground. In the town of Bieber was a flat bed with two more signal boxes. The North switch of the Bieber siding now has signals positioned for both directions (covered) and a power switch

The Ex DRGW caboose is till sitting in Tulelake
