When the RTC purchased the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line from Union Pacific one of the stipulations was that Roaring Camp would be guaranteed rail access to the Boardwalk in perpetuity. The bottom line is Roaring Camp’s access to the Boardwalk takes precedence over a trail or other transit options.
