I think john was being sarcastic.
I too have heard the design was a complete failure. But maybe new technology can breath new life into the design. Afterall Jack Northrop's Flying wing was a complete failure. Well until new tech came along and proved the world wrong when the B-2 stealth bomber took to the skies for the first time.
Only time will tell..
