I was there a month before the fire. Walked all the way to the end. I remember walking on the rails where the wooden trestle had sunk where it met the newer cement trestle (there was a place to park a speeder). I also remember the many sinkholes in the deck where when looking thru them you could see water. BTW there had been a previous fire that had been evident on the steel span. I remember a large kink in the rail.
