Good photo showing the horn, on the GS-4/GS-5 class SP 4-8-4s. Concerning the whistle, which was also air activated just like the horn, by a small brass lever at the Engineer's control area, was actually mounted up inside the skyline caseing, just forward of the cab/turret.
