SP slab train, Long Beach, 1988

Great 80's footage of the SP Slab Train job, Long Beach, on Oct. 8, 1988. Locomotives are a pair of SW1500's.

From what I read online, SP shuttled steel slabs on dedicated flat cars from Long Beach to the Kaiser Steel rolling mill, Fontana.

The uploader of the video mentions a place called, "Cal Nava". Is that a typo? Where is that?

The actual slab loads show up 4 minutes into the video.
