First of all, I am not BP. But can someone just tell me what can be done with this line. There is no freight users to my knowledge in SC. I fought the sand pit will open up with Nimby up there. How many lumber loads went to Felton? If lucky, the cement plant might reopen, especially after the 8.5 earthquake in the area. Any chance of some of the brewers in SC getting hops/other grains delivered to a team track in SC? Howard, are you out there with any answers concerning new or old freight ideas?
The great dream would be a line built next to UP then down to Monterey for a commute rail between the two. With a bike path next to the rails, all the way, not replacing the rails.
