Words ARE important. Very. And if the exact
words are not important at all, why don't we
just babble gibberish? Oh, wait -- isn't that
what has happenerd already -- with corporate
bafflegab and BS, and now "alternative "facts""?
Corporate bafflegab and buzz words have infested
corporate and now social culture to an appalling
degree. And railroads are, unfortunately, no
exception to this.
if you can stand it, and want to have some fun, and
do a real snow job on some naive folks, here is a
website that has a long list o corporate buzz words,
with an automatic corporate BS generator:

Around here, in the soulless heart of what I call
"Silly-Con" Valley*, the favorite word is "innovate".
Gaaaahh!!! If I hear that word one more time, I'm
gonna scream!!
*It is very silly, at the least, and its entire culture
is a con job done on both us and their overpaid and overworked
employees, 90% of whose work, IMO, is completely UNnecessary
and almost always makes using any kind of electronic device
much, much harder. Talk about make-work! Geez.....
OK, off my soapbox.
