Well yes and no.....

Walt had a large 7.25" gauge track that spanned a upper and lower part of his Holmby Hills home. Several trestles and even a tunnel under his wife's rose garden. There are several websites that have information, just Google Walt Disney home railroad.

When the house was put up for sale in the late 1990's, the Disney family donated all of the track and the Disney Barn (which Walt kept his equipment and even had a layout board that would show where the train is located)to be placed at Los Angeles Live Teamers. It was moved, restored by the family, with a trust to take care of the barn. Disney Corp. handles security and maintenance.

Inside the barn is Walt's English locomotive that was damaged when shipped to his house, all of the equipment that Walt had in the barn, several models, and other Disney memories. The barn is open every third Sunday of the month. They have special guests and book signings.

Also at the barn sight is Ollie Johnson's little depot that was at his house before it was torn down. Ollie had a 1" scale track that all was donated to LALS.

One of the very original cars of the Disneyland RR is also there, the combine coach. Fully restored.

The famous 4-4-0 Lily Belle, along with a riding car and caboose are located at the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. There is NO Disney scale railroad equipment operating at the LALS. The aluminum rail that was donated and used by LALS was recently sold, as the club has all steel rail, which with public runs every Sunday, the Disney rail wore out.
