Security??? How do you propose that be accomplished for a moving Acela?

Armed guards that shoot back? A flying squadron escort of police motorcyles/crusiers? How about some "armed" drones flying above the train?

Of course those are unrealistic - the truth is that there are unseen scenarios, and sometimes bad things beyond our control happen. Its not just trains - airplanes have bird strikes, and sometimes that results in a crash. Get used to it.
