In effect, the USDA farms out "Organic" certification for products produced in other countries (to be sold in the USA) to 3rd parties. The situation is so
ridiculous that there is now "USDA Organic" honey being sold in the US, even though there are NO "Organic" honey standards published by the USDA, and NO honey produced in the USA is certified "Organic" by the USDA since the USDA has not published any standard.
