Railroad train & Engine crew pay is abominable and disrespectful. Hasn't kept up with the cost of living and inflation. They're offering $55k to start in some of these places and that's not even guaranteed work... you'll get less than $2000 a month. Good luck paying your bills, Your truck payment and forget about starting a family and buying Your with a nice rack.
