Pdxrailtransit: Although Elon Musk's comments are highly offensive to me as a public transit enthusiast, public transit patron and public transit professional, calling for someone's death is out of line, too.

With respect to Musk's vision "to replace subways and buses with autonomous, individualized ‘pods’ to take riders precisely where they want to go, on demand," such a system exists and is operating on the West Virginia University campus at Morgantown.

WVU Personal Rapid Transit

It's been operating since 1975. If this kind of transit was so practical, it would surely be used in more places
