Pole Burner: You can still get to Avon if you know how. Yes, the road is closed, but the section of Waterfront Road inside the closed area is the only way to get to the PUBLIC marsh. If you go to the refinery guard shack on Waterfront Road and tell them you want to go to the public marsh, they HAVE to let you in. I have done it. Then you drive right past the Avon Wye.
