The canyon sub still sees a fair share of trains. Usually heavy stuff that does better on the 1% ruling grade. I saw a loaded grain train going west just before New Years and the local (canyon crawler) still serves the interchange at Quincy. Much busier from Keddie west with the BNSF though.
