The State Rail Assistance is just a small funding pot from SB 1 that can be used for operations or capital.

The Saturday service ACE is doing for a year will give them the opportunity to try weekend revenue service on trains that would have otherwise just have been doing PTC testing.

The big pot of money will be the competitive $2.4 billion available in the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program this year for "transformative" projects. I suspect we'll see some big projects get awarded funding.
