We are all too in awe of lawyers. If someone were to kneecap Ed Ellis and tell him it will get worse before it gets better, I bet he could find funds to pay creditors. We all want to have others resolve our disputes, we call the cops. Forget the cops and lawyers, the Mafia had it right, address the owner directly and get him to pay up. It is a little crude and messy, but it works, we just don't want to dirty our hands.
