The light rail will go behind the PGE transformer yard and Tri-Met Center St. facility and will take enough of the west side of the Brooklyn Yard property to acommodate the double track "trackway". It will go to the west of the roundhouse but most likely will wipe out the businesses along 18th street and McLoughlin Blvd. to achieve its alignment to the south.

As to the ALCo issue, does the 4-axle edition of the Century series put out by Withers give any decent coverage to the C-415 or is the forty bucks better spent elsewhere. I have a meeting with Tacoma Rail on Thursday to discuss acquisition of the ex-CW / CM&E 684. Keeping my fingers crossed something will work out.

Thanks

Sammie
