I do believe that Jeff is right...There is not a whole lot of business to be gained...But there is now second and third growth redwood that is getting close to harvest...But to extend the NWP to Willetts would be a big gamble...there are lots of possibilities, but this means taking chances.....One thing for sure is NCRA has to be completely out of the picture and every one involved with NCRA or any legal contact should be cut off. NWP is having a tough time making ends meet, but if all the legal hassel can be dumped, things could be corrected.
Getting the line to Willets will be expensive but in the long run it may pay off...There is rock to be hauled out of Island Mountain which is as far as the line should go and let the folk is the Eureka area deal with the EEL rive canyon and the Hmbolt bay handle this as their problem. NCRA is leaching finance from the state and financiers and is getting away with it....And showing no result except a lot of words that say nothing....
