The WP's U30B's rode on trucks from traded-in F-units, and they slammed around so bad you just about had to hold on to the seat armrests to keep from being thrown on the cab floor or clobbering your head on the windows. The were quite heavy (285,000-289,000 lbs.) and of course the trade-in trucks were from much lighter (232,000-244,000 lbs.) units; I've always supposed that was the reason. Besides, they ran terrible and frequently broke down on the road. The ex-demos, 3070-3071, seemed like the worst of the worst to me.
