Moiese is about where a washout severed the line into Polson, yes? Satellite imagery indicates the line follows a tributary of the Flathead River for a bit..

Back when the line produced 1000+ carloads yearly, the bulk of the traffic originated at the now-closed Plum Creek mill in Pablo. Who else generated business on this line?
