Got to hand it to those guys up there in Lebec; they must have got inside info from their lobbyists about the mandatory social housing requirements festering in the Legislature leading up to Weiner's current draconian bus stop tenements scheme. Clearly the Ranch does not want any section 8 or homeless housing around their kingdom.

Base tunnels to Palmdale? Indian Broad Gauge to the San Joaquin Valley? Nutty boondoggles IMHO. Now Caltrain electrification - that makes sense altho sadly PB et al blew enough money(S20mil?)on the abandoned CBOSS to build some SMART viaduct in San Rafael, added to the IIRC $20mil SR wants to blow on an unneeded new transit terminal there.
