Thanks, HUTCH! That is a really interesting video. SW1500s -- love them! -- and a number of cars of now-fallen flags -- Southern, Great Northern, Conrail, MKT, and, of course, my beloved SP.

I really enjoyed the great skill of the engineer in that SW1500, who shoved those cars at just the right speed to make perfect joints, every time. I could hear that he made the joints. Nice! Now THAT is railroading! And done by real experts.

I just love the intricate moves those guys did to do an excellent job switching cars. And all that was 28 years ago. Where did the time go?

This video is a great find.
