Currently it’s looking like the earliest Progressive Rail will be able to take over the rail line from the SCMB will be late July or early August. A couple of RTC commissioners who take their marching orders from Greenway are preventing the agreement between the RTC and Progressive from moving out of negotiations so the commission can vole on it. Currently the earliest an agreement can be voted on will be June 14, 2018 unless an emergency situation arises, which I believe has already occurred.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the CF7’s arrive at UP’s Pajaro yard.
