Driving the streets of OC and LA counties I see lots of jay walkers, many of them across at grade crossing or trespassing between them with trains on the approach, most are non-caucasian
Have also seen many a stoned, drunk or stupid homeless, jump out between blind spots or in the middle of the street hauling their junk (almost hit a few)
I have seen drivers in their "Fast and the Furious" vehicles driving autobahn speeds on residential streets with children playing close by.
