The picture at the top right of the YV330 page shows a typical truss, the new wood is replacing that of a doorway that was cut into the car while it was a diner. The bottom of the new wood is where the queensposts would go underneath the side sill. Missing in this view is the inside truss plank which through bolts on edge to the side sill, and screws to each wall stud. The stiffness of this alone is sufficient to temporarily move the car.
