Metrolink Black Box Questions

Five questions:

1. Was the Metrolink locomotive equipped with a "black box" data recorder?

2. If so, was it recovered undamaged?

3. If so, would that data recorder indicate the time or distance that had elapsed between when the train left the station and when the engineer, if he did so, took steps to make an emergency stop?

4. If so, has that information been made public?

5. If so, did the train go into emergency stop mode, and if so how soon after leaving the station?
