Upon review of the 1955 slides at Grand Junction, it appears that Jim Davis is correct in his post and the depot did sit inside the triangle created by the 3 crossings. The NP (BNSF) line crossed the SI (UP) line west of the depot, between the depot and the water tank. The pictures and the map do agree.
