Neat to see this photo of ATSF 2336. It was assigned to Los Angeles when I worked there as a dual-seniority switchman-brakeman in 1961-1963. Looking through my old time book shows that I worked on it numerous times. I wonder why it was transferred to Stockton...LA had a whole bunch of Alco S-2's, a few S-4's and (I think) all of Santa Fe's high-hood 1000 hp switchers when I was there.
