The politics of the NCRA-NWP-SMART is just beginning. Rest assured the insiders are scrambling around to best protect their interests.

When SMART opens to the north side of Sir Francis Drake in Larkspur it will become clear to the public how sketchy the whole scheme was from the beginning. Railfan nostalgia. Hopefully they will recognize fairly quickly GGT should take over and costs will have to be cut by going to one man operation. And start planning to extend to southern Marin with electric light rail conversion.

Maybe they can peddle the doodlebugs to eBART.
