Honestly, why do we need High Speed Rail in the PNW if we have perfectly good airports at Seatac, Portland, and Vancouver BC?

Why not build high speed rail transit to the airports from nearby population centers instead? There is a lot of demand right now for good and fast transportation to the airport. The vans, shuttles, paid parking lots and milk train light rail systems don't do the job efficiently.
